The aim of the study was to evaluation of workers’ pulmonary function indexes in one of textile industry in Qom province. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional one which has done on LALEH MEHRGAN textile industry workers. Data collection was done according to a questionnaire. For evaluating of workers’ pulmonary functions, lung function tests were done by an occupational medical specialist. Lung function indexes were FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC and FEF25% -75%. The data were statically analyzed using one sample t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient Test, one-way analysis of variance, using SPSS.Results: Pulmonary function in halls was not significantly different. The only pulmonary function index that was statistically significant with control group was FEF 25-75% in spinning and weaving jobs. Statistical analysis between pulmonary function and job experience, age, body mass index and use of respiratory protection equipment showed no significant correlation (P>0.05).Conclusion: Chance of airway obstruction, especially in the small airways in the weaving and spinning workers is high, so modification of the ventilation system in the production halls is essential.
